I am soooo ready for baseball pictures and Cardinal Red!!!

One of the interesting thing about goin to Spring Training was how BRIGHT the Cardinal red and other colors seem.
Could it be the a persons being so happy that colors seem brighter? Thoughts and opinions?

Arms that put the W’s in Cardinals rotation take mound
By Derrick Goold
St. Louis Post-Dispatch

Quote:
10:30 AM: Adam Wainwright throws to Yadier Molina, Todd Wellemeyer throws to Jason LaRue, Jason Motte throws to Bryan Anderson

10:45 AM: Josh Kinney throws to LaRue, Trever Miller throws to Molina

11:00 AM: Clayton Mortensen throws to Luis De La Cruz, Blake Hawksworth throws to Justin Knoedler, Adam Ottavino throws to Steven Hill

11:15 AM: Shaun Garceau, a prospect looking to put himself on the radar, throws to Matt Pagnozzi, with Francisco Samuel and Fernando Salas alongside.

Quote:
The same three pitchers are listed as not throwing today: RHP Mitchell Boggs (shoulder), RHP Matt Scherer (forearm) and LHP Jaime Garcia. Garcia is in camp and going through his rehab with the team as he recovers from last fall’s Tommy john surgery. He has been at the Jupiter facility for a month, working out and working on his arm. He started throwing long toss last week — at 50 feet, 45 feet, thereabouts — and will steadily increase the length and intensity of those throws. “Been good, been going good,” he said. “The arm feels strong.” But there’s still a long and deliberate rehab ahead for the lefty. He’s expected to pitch in games late this season.

I kinda want him to play in the WBC. The last time he did he hit 14 dingers in April.

Videos of Pujols & Brett Wallace taking some swings..

Quote:
Today I spent most of my time watching the position players go through some infield and batting practice. It was my first time seeing the Cardinals 2008 #1 draft pick Brett Wallace. I think by now most Cards fans are familiar with his bat, and after watching him in the cage today, I can see why. Smooth swing, quick bat, and sprays line drives every where.

Also saw Albert Pujols step into the cage for the first time this spring, and as expected, business as usual. He put on quite a power display.

Tomorrow will also be the 4th bullpen of the spring for Chris Carpenter.

ARRIVALS: Khalil Greene and Brian Barton. With those 2 arriving today, all healthy players are now in camp.

I absolutely love how calm he looks when he's swinging the bat.

If you look at the other pictures from the STLToday album, you see it consistently in his calm manner at the plate.

Wallace's swing is just beautiful. Man, I can't wait to see it on a daily basis. That kid is going to put up some impressive numbers.

Anyone see Mather's grip on the ball? Its like a two-seam fastball grip. Usually players grip it like a four-seam fastball.
